The Vee Dub Christmas Cruz 2019 hosted by Vee Dub Family

The Vee Dub Christmas Cruz is back with an updated route to spread the festive Dub cheer to even more people this year following feedback and requests from both participants and spectators!
We will be starting at the Park & Ride in Long Ashton again (BS3 2HB) and following the same route out to Clevedon as last year through Failand and Tickenham. This is where our route extension comes in and we shall be taking in the sights of Clevedon before heading on out to Portishead where we will cruise up to the Lake Grounds and Cafe Lido for a well deserved hot chocolate and mince pie via Portishead High Street.
The nominated charity for 2019 is the Bristol Children’s Hospital again and we hope to smash the £740.10 which was raised last year along with the 250 donated presents.
Participants can arrive at the Park & Ride any time from 2:30pm to add the final decorating touches to your Dubs and we will be departing there just before dusk sets in just after 4pm. We will have access to toilets and O’s Mobile Coffee van will be there to warm you all up before we set off. We have managed to ensure that the height barriers on the Park & Ride will be opened by 2:30pm so no need to worry about tall decorations!
This year we are charging an entry donation of £5 per vehicle for which you will receive the Cruz sticker – if you would like to donate more, please do so, if you would like to bring presents for the children then you may also do that however this will need to be on top of the £5 entry donation. All proceeds will be going to the charity. We will also have some Christmas Cruz mugs for sale at £5 each or £8 for two, again all proceeds from these will be going towards the event total.
The full cruise map can be found here. As always the event has been submitted to the Police and local Highways and we have public liability insurance in place. All participants are reminded that they are responsible for having a road worthy and legal vehicle with valid insurance.
