The Vee Dub Christmas Cruz hosted by Vee Dub Family

The Christmas Cruz is back! Once again we will be asking you to adorn your Dubs with Christmas lights and decorations as we bring some festive cheer to Portishead. Last year several hundred people turned out to watch us cruise along Portishead High Street and then joined us at The Lake Grounds to admire our hard work and this year we are hoping for even more Dubs to turn up and support us with our community Christmas event.

We will be asking everyone taking part for either a monetary donation or a gift for a child at the Bristol Children’s Hospital – all monies raised will go to the Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary and all gifts received will be delivered to the Bristol Children’s Hospital the following week. If choosing a gift please follow the guidelines which will be published on the event in due course.

The Cruz this year will start from the Long Ashton Park & Ride (BS3 2HB) and will then travel across to Portishead where we will be heading along the High Street and then up to the Lake Grounds. Arrive at the Park & Ride any time from 3pm to dress your Dubs ready to depart at 4pm as the daylight starts to go. The full route will be published nearer to the date. All dubs and clubs are welcome to join us in bringing some festive cheer 🙂

We are in discussions with both cafe’s at either end of the Lake Grounds and will hopefully have one of them open their doors for us. We will also have a Santa’s Grotto for the kids to come along and make any last minute Christmas present requests!
